disney frozen

We all love Disney’s animated features: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Pinocchio”, “Cinderella”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Lion King”, “Tangled”, etc. I love them so much that I dedicated the bulk of my blog to a project about these animated features of the Disney Canon! So the question that people always wonder is, “What is the next animated feature in the Disney Canon going to be?”.

Well, Disney’s 53rd addition to the Canon is called “Frozen”. Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s story, “The Snow Queen”, it tells the story of two sisters: one who causes the entire kingdom to dwell in a perpetual winter, and the other who has to try to save the kingdom with the help of a “rugged mountain man”.

Ever since I heard about the existence of this film, I was super stoked for it, I wanted to see this wayyy more than I wanted to see “Wreck-It Ralph”!

And did I like this movie? HA! You'll just have to wait until I get to it in my project to find out!

But the problem was that Disney was being nigh reticent about this movie! The publicity and marketing for this film were pretty much non-existent, even though the film is due to release in theaters in only 5 months! So we Disney fanatics were all ANXIOUSLY awaiting any sort of publicity to be shown!

And finally, we received the trailer for this film! Well, the TEASER trailer, to be precise (as it doesn’t tell us ANYTHING AT ALL about the plot):

And USA Today has released five images of the movie yesterday in an article about the film:
